Slice! Slash! Splat! Fruit Ninja Live!

It was like we stepped into a game, or perhaps it's the other way around. When I was told Fruit Ninja was staging a live show in the Ayala Malls, I did not know what to expect.fruit ninjaI was thinking there might be a lot of SLICING...fruit ninjaSLASHING!fruit ninjaand SPLATTING!fruit ninjaThe whole family came out for the show which was held at the new Glorietta Activity Center.fruit ninjaFrom the boys...fruit ninjato the girls...fruit ninjaThis was after all the Asian premiere of the live show of this popular game. The show started off with fun, energetic song and dance numbers.fruit ninjaAnd when Gutsu came out along with Truffles the pig, the kids in the audience were enthralled.fruit ninjaWe were transported to Fruit Asia and Gutsu went to Sensei who shared his wisdom on the fundamentals of being a Fruit Ninja. Lo and behold! Most of these fundamentals to be a Fruit Ninja can actually be practical life rules. Sensei's rules below and my interpretation is in the parentheses:1) Concentrate. (Focus on the task at hand!)2) Learn to react quickly. (Practice and hone your reflexes. Don't procrastinate.)3) Practice makes perfect! (Persevere!)and the last is a cryptic message if you want it to be.:)--4) Don't slice the bomb! (If something looks like trouble, best to leave it alone!)fruit ninjaVolunteer "trainees" were invited from the audience and in their ninja robes, they learned more tips from Sensei...fruit ninjafruit ninjaAfter the show, there was a meet and greet onstage with characters--fruit ninjaTo see their characters come to life was such a treat.
