The Next Adventure
Some time ago, Gary and I decided to take a step towards finding a life outside the Philippines. We prayed to make our process smooth if it is meant for us, and though there were many unexpected delays, each step went from one to the next, until last December, we received our Canadian Visas for Permanent Residency.
We love the Philippines and grateful for our country in spite of all its flaws. After all no country is perfect. It will always have its good and could-be-better aspects.
But now it’s time for our family to take on a new adventure! this amazing opportunity to explore life in Canada, for our children to take their studies in a global setting, widen their perspectives, and carve a brand new path and future for themselves while they’re still young.
For Gary and I, we explore new avenues for work and business. Personally, I’ll be running our businesses from there.
We have an amazing team who aren’t only fully capable, they also share in our work ethic of service-orientedness. My being able to work with them on a remote basis is something we have been working on for more than a year, and we’ve never been more ready.
There are new members in the team who will help us grow Mommy Mundo more and also keep us stable with my transition. I am so excited to see how Mommy Mundo will transform and be even greater with these great minds and hearts on board.
Meanwhile, I’ll be traveling back and forth, and continue to be present in Expo Mom’s main legs, and still involved in our digital and multi-resource platform management.
With our 2020 theme #MakeTimeforWhatMatters, I look forward to seeing the engagements online, and also the IG LIVE learning sessions that Kit and I will be together. This will be open-end available to all moms and dads whom care to listen in and learn. We can all shift together and grow together!
After the launch event a couple of days ago, and with everyone so supportive, I have no doubt Mommy Mundo will remain active and growing steadily, actually maybe even more active, as we’ve laid the groundwork for more growth and new concepts since last year. Since I will be mostly based in Canada, I’ll take advantage of this and soon launch Mommy Mundo there and then eventually North America. This is truly exciting for us, and will allow us to widen our reach and Mompowerment advocacy, but also help grow Philippine businesses (i.e. Mompreneur brands) into new territories.
I ask for your prayers and well wishes as the V’s embark on our exciting new journey! Thanks to social media, we will surely continue to be in touch here. Perhaps we can also all just pretend we are just nearby, except when you start seeing my posts of us in our furry, padded jackets, tokes and scarves, plus our red cold noses!
Looking forward to all that lies ahead! No goodbyes here, just KEEP IN TOUCH!!
