Flipping Burgers at Kidzania
Another new McDonald’s branch opened in Metro Manila but this one is a special one. It’s manned by kiddie crew in a kid-sized set up and with special training for every step of McDonald’s operation. It's McDonald’s KidZania! In trademark Kidzania fashion, this unique branch allows kids four to 14 years old to have a hands-on experience in making one of McDonald’s most popular offerings, the iconic Cheeseburger. The McDonald’s Burger Shop at Kidzania is one of the ways that the company champions children’s wellbeing and also promotes self-confidence while having fun.Reese says "Kai!"Reese had a different kind of experience when she went to work in McDonalds in Kidzania as part of the crew. She was going to be taught by the Mcdo crew on how they prepare hamburgers to be sold to the customers. Before everything else they were asked to practice cleanliness. They wore hair nets, washed their hands and then wore plastic gloves. They then went to their own stations, picked up the lightly toasted buns then the 100% pure beef patty, a slice of American cheese, pickles, minced onions, while the kids ere free to “design" the top part of the bread using mayo, ketchup and mustard. After placing the top bread on the bottom to form the sandwich, they were taught to wrap it the McDo way.Even though the actual hands-on assembly of a burger was easy and quick, Reese still had fun and was looking forward to telling her friends that she actually made a cheeseburger at McDonald's.Here are more photos from Reese's day at Kidzania, thanks to McDonald's!in Shell---KidZania Manila is located at Park Triangle, Bonfacio Global City.
