Of Containers & Cookware
A crowd was gathering as the cook-off ensued-with Tina on corner, and Tin on the other. They took on the challenge to cook as many pancakes as possible in a set duration using the new Lock & Lock Speedcook pans. The task should be a breeze since the Speedcook pans guaranteed to cut cooking time in half. Both are able cooks, with Tina who loves to cook for her kids at homeand Tin whose cooking skills were honed when she lived in New York as a new mom.Who would emerge the winner? Who would end up with the most cooked pancakes after time was up? We, in the audience, oohed and aahed, not only at the abilities of our Somomms sister, but also because we realized how much time we can cut with Speedcook while making our kids' breakfast and meals. We were starting to imagine the extra time it would give us to do other important things!Soon the bell rang and time was up. Tin emerged the winner and as a prize, she brought home her very own Speedcook Teppanyaki pan.{Audience clap} The show ended here but not the fantasy of the Speedcook pan!:)After a hearty lunch with the Lock & Lock managers, we went to the newly opened Lock and Lock store in the Shangrila East Wing to check out all their latest items.Just like bookshops and art supplies stores, these container stores are heaven for me! Check out the new Lock and Lock Interlock containers. Great to use in small cupboards or the side of the refrigerator. They screw on together andyou can stack them up and they won't separate and fall over. These were on a Buy One, Take One promo at that time so I brought home some of these Borosolicate containers. Lock & Lock's glass containers are made of boroseal glass which is heat resistant you can safely use them from freezer straight to the oven.I also purchased these eCook Ceramic pans because I want to replace my Teflon pans little by little with these safer and more convenient ceramic ones. Food cooks much faster in ceramic pans because heat is distributed evenly, and they are also such a breeze to clean. It was amazing to learn that Lock & Lock now has silicon cooking utensils, even picnic mats!Chessy with a cool first aid kit. That would be handy to have at home so i can organize my "drugs".Of course I brought home my very own Speedcook pan! How could i not, my kids love omelettes, pancakes...and the beef tapa I cooked for them last week!Think I'm going to get some of Koyen's Angus Beef Tapa this weekend just so i can use my Speedcook pan!Want to know more about Lock and Lock and they're innovative products?
