We always have pizza crusts ready in the freezer, pizza sauce in the cupboard, various cold cuts and cheese of course! We used to grate mozzarella or different kinds of cheese to serve as toppings like when we did our Pizza Pedring
our pizza step by step
but when we discovered Perfect Italiano’s Pizza Plus and Perfect Italiano’s grated mozzarella, we just stock up on that too.
the Perfect Italiano cheeses make things so easy and it actually comes out more cost-effective
The other day I found myself restless at home and was suddenly in the mood to experiment in the kitchen. I’ve always been interested in cooking but because of lack of practice, I am really not a natural cook. Lately however, I’m happy I’ve become more active and confident in the kitchen and I think it’s because I’ve had more time to practice plus it just excites me to just keep trying out various ingredients and new recipes I come across.
There’s also this website featuring free ebooks about Cristiano the Perfect Italiano, quite the skilled homecook, who is trying to win a woman’s heart through his culinary creations. This may be another culprit to my inspired adventures in the kitchen.
The first recipe I tried from the site was FRITTATA ITALIANA. Since my kids and Gary like omelettes and torta, I thought this was a good one to try to make.
The recipe called for “balsamic glaze” so I looked up the recipe and made some. I’d have to say this was potent stuff! The outcome with this glaze made the effort worth it!

Cooked everything in the pan and the Frittata Italiana came out lovely!
Serve with some toast bread on the side, yum! This will be a great alternative to the usual ham and cheese omelettes my family loves.
Will try out more recipes soon. There are so many that look interesting and easy enough to follow. Check it out as well. Here’s the link to the recipe pages.
