A Manam Potluck Party

During our Sunday family lunches, we rarely (or never) volunteer to cook because we want to just relax and focus on enjoying everyone’s company. Usually on Sundays the helpers are on day-off, and we resort to doing potluck. Except for Tonette, my brother’s wife, who can whip up any dish without even thinking, Jaymie (my sister) and I just joke about bringing food that “tastes exactly like” famous restaurants’ dishes but we actually did buy from the famous restaurant (haha). So one Sunday lunch, I was so happy to treat the family to hearty (not fast food), delicious, as-good-as-home-cooked, Filipino dishes from one of my current favorite restaurants, Manam.

They told me about their new offering, Manam Pinoy Potluck and I couldn’t wait to try it! I called in my orders and arranged for the sched to pick it up in their BGC branch. The dishes come neat and securely packaged in these sturdy brown bags
