If I could hangout in this awesome place all day I would. If I could adopt all the creative souls who work there as my own brothers and sisters, I would. If I could take all the craft workshops they offered, I would.
Since I discovered Craft MNL several months ago, I’ve treated myself to a class, met up and collaborated with the owners, worked with them and their team on three Mommy Mundo events, and learned the art of screenprinting, making handmade dolls, and received heavy doses of inspiration and creativity. One of my memorable visits to Craft MNL was also during the birthday celebration of one of my fave nieces and Reese’s BFFs, Katie.
Katie’s mom, my cousin and Nurture Nook/ Mommy Matters partner Candy planned an intimate afternoon for her little one, choosing Craft MNL as the venue. With just a few of Katie’s closest friends, it was a well thought-out charmer of a day, and it turned out to be such a memorable treat for all.
There were three craft activities planned for the girls (and moms too!) that afternoon.
Just seeing the hand-brushed calligraphed signs instantly got me in the creative zone!

After that we went upstairs to the comfy room where Candy prepared some snacks for everyone.
Feasting soon followed by cake blowing (and some chika of course)…

And the kids got to make Katie a poster greeting complete with handprints and paint.
As we left the space, we went through the Collective which is also home to a lot of indie shops and businesses such as art shops…
This Ukelele store! Charming!

Love the energy in this place! It was a perfect venue for some simple creativity, clean fun and happy celebrations.
Happy birthday dear Katie! and good job on the labor of love Candy!
